I've been hit with yet another virus (the dreaded cold). Very frustrating as it has developed into a cough and thus I'm off the bike. I might get the Brompton serviced by the professionals during this forced break.
In between the bad weather I have had some relaxing rides. I have found a new track I wish to follow one day soon near Point Cook. The MTB will be required for that day! The new tyres on the MTB are working well and I wish I had changed them earlier. The standard tyres on the Brompton are also working well. I'm not sure what pathway I will take going forward with the tyres on the Brompton. Tannus tyres are good but as they get used, they do add rolling resistance. Thinking required.....
Varied riding over the past week or so for me. The Brompton, eBike and the MTB have all had good rides. The wind has been a bit of a pain so the length of some rides has been shortened as a result. My next big bike riding adventure is already in the making and it will be back to Japan (again...) to do more looking around. The Brompton will again accompany me on this trip. The big question is looming however - where to go for my 16 week long service leave adventures...???
A lovely morning to ride to work on the Kalkhoff ebike. I had it serviced recently and it is now much quieter and feeling a lot smoother. I had a wee battery problem as well that appears to have been caused by a loose conector - a simple fix. I am hoping to go on a Brompton ride tomorrow to get a Instagram picture or two.....
I have had a few days of standard riding around Geelong. Last night I changed the tyres on the Brompton back to standard tyres lined with anti-puncture tape. I am seeing if I notice a speed change between the Tannus and standard tyres. I suspect I will. I also gave the bike a good clean while I had it on the bike stand. The MTB has also had new tyres put on it.
Who am I?
