After work last night I managed to have a quick but enjoyable ride on the eBike. I had forgotten how much fun it is to ride. It was the perfect bike for the job as my body is very tired at the moment.
I was very lucky and avoided the rain by about 30 seconds- perfect timing. I was inspired to ride the eBike by an interesting video created by ElectricBikeReview.com.
Finally some real Spring weather! I hope it does stay this time....I've squeezed in a few rides but have been physically tired from preparing the house for upcoming changes. Tonight I'll go out after work on the MTB and ride the local bike tracks. Looking forward to a bit of sun.
I'm hoping to get the video camera out soon and make some short videos again. I would like to get some films of local bike tracks to show off the local spots.
I had a great ride last night after work whilst the sun was out and the wind was still. Lovely. I had a relaxing time of it around the Geelong waterfront.
Should I go or not....still deciding: Brompton Urban Challenge Sydney - 8 October 2016
Another Brompton competition:
Brompton Demo Month...This September we are offering you the chance to win a Brompton. To enter, just demo one of our bikes in your local store and post a photo of the bike with the hashtag #TryBrompton on Instagram! The competition is open to all so it’s a perfect chance to encourage your friends to demo a bike and join the Brompton community.

I've been unable to do much riding of late as I am busy preparing the house for upcoming changes. Tonight after work hopefully I'll get out on the bike for a while. At the moment the sun is out and there is no wind! I hope it stays like this. The bikes all need a good clean and service again. The MTB sounds like an old sewing machine currently.
An article on road.cc about the BBC and Brompton: The Brompton factory produces 150 folding bicycles every 24 hours. Wallace follows the production line from start to finish to see how they’re put together. Read the full article here...
I went for a great ride in the warmest weather in many months. It was very nice to not worry about the rain or cold for a change!
I had a nice short ride after work on the Bromptom and it was a perfect sunny afternoon for the ride. I rode around the Geelong waterfront in the more industrial sections.
As you can see above, the sky was blue and the water to match!
A lazy few days of riding have taken place as i am focused on getting the house ready for other things coming up. I enjoy gentle rides on the Brompton and am still looking forward to buying the custom Brompton from Kinetics. The weather tomorrow is looking good, a chance to explore somewhere new?
As of today I have re-launched my website with a new look & feel plus a new hosting service. I have not added all the past blog entries at this time. If time allows, I will. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts regarding the new site.
